Newborn Photo Session with Alfie

This little guy was in the studio last week for his newborn shoot at just 17 days old. Alfie very much enjoyed having lots of cuddles but was reluctant to go to sleep, so after lots of cuddles and extra milk Alfie had a little sleep. I managed to get a selection of photos on the beanbag and in our tin bath. 

Every newborn shoot is different and I always put the baby's needs first, if they don't like a specific pose then I will change it. As with Alfie I had planned to do certain poses but he wanted to sleep.....but in his mummy's arms! Which is totally understandable! 

This is what Laura (Alfie's Mum) had to say about the shoot "I was lucky enough to have capture every moment take some shots of my newborn baby boy today who is 17 days old. Such welcoming and lovely people who I would highly recommend. I felt very comfortable and they took great care of our little boy making sure he was relaxed, warm and calm. Some beautiful pictures taken but some we weren't able to do as little man didn't want to play ball, the nicest bit was they didn't force him to do anything he wasn't happy with and just played it all by him giving as much time as was needed all the pictures taken were very natural I cannot wait to see the finished product!!
