Lucy and Tim got married at Newbury Manor Hotel February 22nd this year.
We were delighted to have been chosen to photograph Lucy and Tim's special day, especially as Tim's mum recommended us and as she works in the photography industry it made us feel extra special :)
Newbury Manor has such beautiful grounds with a river flowing through with waterfalls which of course makes a beautiful location for wedding photographs. Unfortunately on the wedding day the grounds were very limited due to being flooded but Tim and Lucy took it in their stride and with the photographs being taken very carefully not to show the floods...you would never know!
The Sun came out for the day which made for a beautiful winter wedding.
When we arrived at the hotel Lucy was having her hair done along with her Bridesmaid. It was a lovely calm morning of Bridal preparations. Lucy wore a bespoke wedding dress which was made by her mother, who also made the Bridesmaid dress too.
Tim was also as calm as a cucumber!
Lucy's dad walked her up the aisle and watched by family and friends Tim and Lucy
became Mr and Mrs Brown
Lucy and Tim had a theme for their wedding which was Alice in Wonderland, table centre pieces, wedding favours, table plan and the cake showcased the theme.
My favourite part of the wedding day is the speeches, I just love the stories!
I did give the Best Man a little scare while he was practising by saying "wow I have herd some good ones" Not to worry John your speech was brilliant!
During Lucy's Dad's speech he gave them both a T-Shirt personally made for them, Tim's read "I don't need google my wife knows everything!" and Lucy's "What I want" which showed a picture of the world on a lollipop stick.
A big congratulations to Mr and Mrs Brown we wish you many years' of happiness!
