Laura and Matt are getting married in July this year. On the day of the pre-wedding shoot they said they felt a little nervous about having their photos taken, which is normal for a lot of couples at the pre-wedding shoot as the shoot is normally 4-6 weeks prior to the wedding, so all of a sudden it seems very real and your aware the big day will soon be here, we generally have a chat to our couples during the shoot about poses and photo opportunity's and also talk about the big day itself, after a few shots you start to feel more comfortable and at ease. Laura and Matt may not like the camera but the camera loves them!

Leon & Sophie Pre-Wedding Shoot

Leon and Sophie are getting married in July this year at a local family Church in Gloucester, afternoon and evening celebrations take place at Stonehouse Court. Stonehouse Court is a stunning venue, so we thought we would do the pre-wedding shoot there! We walked around the grounds chatting about their big day and took a selection of photos - here is my favourites :-)

South Cerney Wedding - Mr & Mrs Hughes

We had been looking forward to Brian and Claire's wedding ever since they booked us not only because we know them but also it was the first wedding we have ever done at our local church...so it was a little special!

 Brian and Claire became husband and wife on the 17th of May, the wedding took place at South Cerney Church and the reception at Cirencester Town Football Club. To say it was a hot sunny day is an understatement because wow....it was boiling!

We arrived first thing for bridal preps, a calm Claire was busy making tea for us all....yep she was that chilled...before having her make up done by Samantha Davis and then her hair by good friend Lea Rose. Throughout the morning all was calm and laughter and tears of happiness filled the air, Claire was in good company with her parents and bridesmaid at her home with her. Not too far away Brian was getting ready too with his best man and ushers, Paul turned up for photos but they were ready and waiting, posed for a few pictures and then they headed to the pub!

Claire arrived at the Church with her dad in a convertible Bentley, It was time for her to walk down the isle and be given away by her dad. Watched by family and friends Claire and Brian became Mr and Mrs Hughes, when the vicar announced "you are now husband and wife" the congregation cheered. After the wedding we took the short walk down to a friends home, who kindly let the newly-weds use the grounds for photos, as they made the walk family and friends gathered both sides and confetti was thrown. 

Once the final photos were taken down Bow Wow we made our way to Cirencester Football club for the afternoon and evening reception. The very yummy food was served (very yummy Mandy!) then was time for the speeches, which of course had guests laughing and crying! We left not to long after the first dance, where they all partied till the early hours.

Pre-Wedding Shoot Matt & Lauren

Matt and Lauren's wedding takes place in July this year and after being engaged for a few years now they will finally become Mr and Mrs! The wedding takes place at a local family church with family and friends watching as they say "I Do" I'm looking forward to seeing Lauren's dress and meeting her twelve Bridesmaids, four pageboys and two ushers!

Mr & Mrs Pickering

Ric and Sarah became Mr & Mrs Pickering April 26th 2014. The wedding took place at Cheltenham Regency Hotel. We arrived while Sarah was getting ready with her bridesmaids and Mom, Sarah was totally relaxed while chatting about the day a head, and after lots (and lots, and lots!) of hairspray was sprayed and the final touches of make up applied Sarah was ready.

While Sarah was busy preparing, Ric turned up with Best Man Dave and Best Woman Liz. As you can see below, the windy day played havoc with Ric's hair! 

Sarah was given away by her proud dad and while being watched by family and friends Ric and Sarah became Husband and Wife. It was a lovely ceremony which also included readings read by family members.

 After the ceremony it was time for photos and as normal the Great British weather had its own mind, a few photos were taken and the heavens opened so we quickly got back inside and thought we would wait a few minutes to see how kind the weather would be, but nope it chose not to be kind and soon plan b was under way.

The Regency Hotel were very helpful and let us use the ceremony room just for a little while, which was long enough to take the majority of the group shots - Thank you to the lovely team there! And a HUGE thank you to Best Women Liz for helping to usher people for photos...oh and Dave of course...he helped a little too :) 

Sarah and Ric's theme was "Willy Wonka" which was fun and colourful, I loved the personal touches such as the bouquet featuring lollipops and also the lolly pop button holes.....and look at those shoes!

The whole wedding day had such a great atmosphere, the guests were absolutely lovely and as for the Bride and Groom - They are made for each other. We both wish you all the love, luck and the best for the future.
