Sara & Christian Devon Wedding

Sara & Christian became husband and wife on St Valentines Day 2015. We met Sara and Christian at a wedding fayre in Gloucester last year and had a good chat about their special day which took place in North Devon as this is the place Sara grew up. So the arrangements were made and we headed down to Devon the day before the wedding to capture their special day.

The Morning of the wedding Sara got ready at her parents home with her bridesmaids around her, all was calm and the wine was flowing. The weather was on everybody's mind as the rain came down but it soon cleared during the wedding ceremony and it stayed dry throughout the day. We left Sara to head to the Church to meet the guests and Christian, Christian was relaxed and chatting to guests when we arrived and after a few photos with the Grooms Men he headed off inside to wait for the brides arrival, Sara kept to tradition and made him wait a little longer before heading to the Church.

The ceremony was very personal with a few family and friends each doing a reading, once the rings were exchanged, the register signed and the marriage sealed with a kiss it was time for the guests to have a cup of tea and cake while the newly-weds had a few photos taken.

The reception was held at a nearby village hall and looked stunning dressed in theme colours. The speeches brought tears and laughter to every guest as the Groom, Best Man, Father of the Bride and the Bride herself had a few words to say. The wedding party was treated to yummy waffles, candy buffet and a chocolate fountain in the evening as well as a fantastic barn dance for entertainment.

Congratulations Sara & Christian!

Emma & Moo say "I Do"

Saturday 20th of September was the day Emma and Moo said I Do!

The day started with drizzling rain but yet that didn't damper the spirits of the girls who were all getting ready at Emma's mums house, which was just down the road from the village church and hall where the celebrations were taking place. Emma was relaxed and sipping champagne while Heidi styled her hair and Make-Up, as the morning went on it was soon time for Emma to slip on her dress and head for the church.

At the church Moo (Matt - Everyone calls him Moo!) was chatting and greeting guests as they arrived ,and after a few photos with his grooms men it was time for Moo to head inside the church and await the Brides arrival. Emma arrived in style and with her brother by her side she walked down the aisle and said "I Do" to Moo. After sealing the deal with a kiss and of course the signing of the register Emma and Moo left the church as Mr & Mrs Ward. The newly weds had a little surprise waiting for them just outside the church, from their good friend Jacqui, two white doves, which the newly weds released. After a few family, bridal party and husband & wife photos, the Bride and Groom headed off to the local village hall, where the celebrations began with family and friends.

The village hall had it all, bunting draped the ceiling, balloons - not just any sort but cows, candle centre pieces, sweet cart, a camper van bar, vintage tea set and much more. Mr and Mrs ward had two cakes - one of cheese and the other made by Moo's mum. As the afternoon became evening fish and chips were served and Ice cream for pudding, then it was time for the first dance. The first dance was a traditional dance but then Emma and Moo had a good old fashioned jig to Chaz and Dave! Which was brilliant! Mr and Mrs Ward partied the evening away while The Abstracts played.

Mr & Mrs Garvey - Wedding at Cirencester Parish Church

Beth and Martin became Mr & Mrs Garvey on the 2nd of August 2014. Surrounded by family and close friends and their two gorgeous sons Isaac and Lucas, they got married at The Parish Church, Cirencester.

Our day started at Beth's home where she was getting ready with her sister, it was a very calm morning but all of us was very aware of the horrid rain that decided to show-up, but that didn't stop the chatter and laughter while the girls got ready. Soon the time was upon us and we headed to the church, with brolly's, to see Martin and his two Best Men greeting guests at the church. The rain got heavier and heavier and brolly's were ready and waiting for the bridesmaids and flower girl for when they arrived, not much longer after Beth arrived in style in a white Bentley with her two boys, brolly's were no longer needed as when the bride arrived the sun made an appearance - not kidding! I always think with moments just like this, its because some one is looking down and smiling.

Their eldest son Isaac had the special duty of walking his mom down the aisle, which he did with a huge smile upon his face. Isaac along with Martin's dad had the special job of doing a lovely reading during the service. Also i really want to mention they had the best vicar ever, he was very polite to all the guests and let us take whatever photos we would like during the service and respectfully and quietly we achieved a beautiful memento for Mr and Mrs Garvey.

After the Ceremony we headed on to The Wild Duck at Ewen which is a very personal place for them both as that's where they had their first date - so very fitting to celebrate their marriage there. After the speeches and very yummy meal (Thanks Beth & Martin) it was time for the evening celebrations to start and what a great way to start too with a Steel Band  - lots of fun and a great way to get the party started. Soon it was time for the DJ to start and for the new Mr and Mrs to take to the dance floor which they did with their youngest son Lucas and danced to All of Me by John Legend.
