Smash the Cake! Happy 1st Birthday Clay

Jenna and Ross thought a great way to celebrate their sons 1st birthday was to let him have a Smash the Cake session with us at the studio, Clay wasn't keen at first but after lots of encouragement soon got stuck in! As did Dad thanks to Clay wanting to give him a cake covered cuddle of which Mum found funny but soon had cuddles too!

To begin with we took a few photos of Clay (while he was clean) to introduce him to the camera and the surroundings we had balloons, bubbles and toys at the ready but soon learnt Clay, since learning to walk is a fast mover and kept us all on our toes.

Happy Birthday Clay!

Make Over Shoot!

I have wanted to offer makeover shoots for ages to our clients and finally we can!

Last Friday  i arranged for Kerry (a very lovely Makeup Artist) to work her magic on two gorgeous ladies who volunteered for the shoot Lettie - a yummy mummy of two and Emily - A 17yr old aspiring model. So the kettles on and  biscuits at the ready!

Up First Lettie!
Lettie showed up with a bag of clothes and soon got discussing outfits and makeup. Lettie confessed like lots of ladies she doesn't often wear makeup but Kerry was great at advising her with colours /tones and soon got to work, giving tips along the way! After the makeup had finished it was time to unleash "my inner Elle McPherson" Lettie said! And she was such a natural! As well as my poses she did some of her own too!

Up next Emily
Being an aspiring model Emily feels at ease in front of the camera but the makeover was a new experience. Emily had a rock look going on.....so bring on the heavy black makeup and wild hair! I used both the studio and the local park for the photo shoot and Emily posed away.

Boudoir Photography

So what are your thoughts on Boudoir Photography? Glamour Photography or what about up close & Personal photo shoots? Some people blush, give a little giggle or just don't want to even think about this type of photography but then some people like me...thinks its a fab way to show off your gorgeous body!

We normally do photo shoots at the studio but if you wish we can arrange a hotel room or even on location. Before the shoot i would recommend meeting us to discuss what your looking for as we want you to enjoy the shoot and be comfortable through out. It's a good idea to prepare for the shoot - you may choose to wear lingerie, a baby doll or just a night dress but what ever you choose you must be comfortable and feel confident. Shoes and props such as tutus, hats, stockings....the list goes on!

Perhaps you have a reason for wanting a boudoir shoot? Getting married, an upcoming birthday, a present for that special someone, recently divorced, just had a baby or just because you want to be glamours, gorgeous and sexy for a day!

Below is a few of my favourite images from a recent shoot in a hotel room. The room was gorgeous and really set the scene for the shoot. Before the shoot began we spoke about different outfits, props and poses. Shelly booked the shoot to give her partner a Christmas present. Throughout the shoot there was giggles and constant chat about the poses and the results! Well you can see for yourself....

So what are your thoughts on Boudoir Photography?
If you wish to book a shoot please get in touch.....See you soon!

Mr & Mrs Cruz

For five whole days before Gemma & Wayne's Wedding it rained even in the early hours on the 12th of October it rained! But soon enough the Sun shone down over the Cotswold Water Park ready for the day to begin. When we arrived, Gemma was sat in her PJ's having her hair done while the bridesmaids were busy preparing for the day....not sure if it was the fact i was filming the days events but silence filled the air, there seemed to be no nerves just a calm and relaxed bridal party but every now and then laughter would fill the air especially when Gemma mentioned the maid of honor (Sally) did a little catwalk in her dress the night before.

The Ceremony was emotional...Wayne turned to look as Gemma walked down the isle to the sound of Snow Patrol "Just Say Yes" with her her dad by her side....lets just say a few tears flowed. The sun shone all day during the ceremony, photo call and right up in till late into the evening.
