Leah and Liam Work Experience

This week we have had the pleasure of being joined by Leah and Liam on Work Experience from one of the local secondary schools. It has been a brilliant week full of tears - tears of laughter! These guys may have been a blast to have around for the week but they have learnt so much in such little time. As well as completing a product shoot on their own on Tuesday and on Wednesday they took control of a portrait shoot they had arranged on their own and on Friday they got involved with a commercial shoot we had booked in and even our client was impressed with the images they took. Throughout the week they have been using Photoshop and light room for their editing and have followed instructions easily and have been able to complete tasks on their own while working nicely alongside each other.
Two photographers in the making and we wish them all the best for their future in Photography.

This is what Liam and Leah had to say about their week here......

This week we have been taught how to edit on Photoshop. we've done portrait photography, commercial photography and product photography. We have enjoyed portrait photography the most because we prefer working with people.
This week was better than either of us thought it would be, it has definitely helped us to decide whether this is the right career path for us to go down professionally.
Carissa and Paul have been very welcoming into their business and were willing to teach us all the skills they know. Also they have been great help in showing us where we are going wrong and how we need to improve. We have enjoyed our week at Capture every moment and would love to work with them again.

Boudoir Photography

So what are your thoughts on Boudoir Photography? Glamour Photography or what about up close & Personal photo shoots? Some people blush, give a little giggle or just don't want to even think about this type of photography but then some people like me...thinks its a fab way to show off your gorgeous body!

We normally do photo shoots at the studio but if you wish we can arrange a hotel room or even on location. Before the shoot i would recommend meeting us to discuss what your looking for as we want you to enjoy the shoot and be comfortable through out. It's a good idea to prepare for the shoot - you may choose to wear lingerie, a baby doll or just a night dress but what ever you choose you must be comfortable and feel confident. Shoes and props such as tutus, hats, stockings....the list goes on!

Perhaps you have a reason for wanting a boudoir shoot? Getting married, an upcoming birthday, a present for that special someone, recently divorced, just had a baby or just because you want to be glamours, gorgeous and sexy for a day!

Below is a few of my favourite images from a recent shoot in a hotel room. The room was gorgeous and really set the scene for the shoot. Before the shoot began we spoke about different outfits, props and poses. Shelly booked the shoot to give her partner a Christmas present. Throughout the shoot there was giggles and constant chat about the poses and the results! Well you can see for yourself....

So what are your thoughts on Boudoir Photography?
If you wish to book a shoot please get in touch.....See you soon!

A little bit of Press...

Thursday 2nd August 2012

Look who is in the Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard, here is what they had to say.......

A cutting from the paper
" A woman in Cirencester who launched a videography venture four years ago has enlisted the help of her father to expand into the field of photography.Carissa Jones, of South Cerney, launched Capture every Moment in 2009. She had trained as a nursery nurse but decided to follow a different career path. The 26-year-old started off producing videos of events and special occasions such as weddings . But the venture proved such a success she has now opened a photography studio in Black Jack Street.Carissa said she was able to expand the business with the support of her photographer dad Paul Johns, 44, whose experience in the field has provided her with all the knowledge she needs."I'm just starting to venture into photography with my dads support, guidance and training because my dad is a photographer and has had a camera in his hands since he was 16," she explained."I had a change of heart after i filmed a friends wedding. I did a good job and my dad and a few friends encouraged the new-found skill. i love this because you meet so many different people from different walks of life, it's a wonderful feeling giving a bride and groom a wedding album full of memories and to know every day in this job is going to be different from one day to the next"
