A cutting from the paper |
" A woman in Cirencester who launched a videography venture four years ago has enlisted the help of her father to expand into the field of photography.Carissa Jones, of South Cerney, launched Capture every Moment in 2009. She had trained as a nursery nurse but decided to follow a different career path. The 26-year-old started off producing videos of events and special occasions such as weddings . But the venture proved such a success she has now opened a photography studio in Black Jack Street.Carissa said she was able to expand the business with the support of her photographer dad Paul Johns, 44, whose experience in the field has provided her with all the knowledge she needs."I'm just starting to venture into photography with my dads support, guidance and training because my dad is a photographer and has had a camera in his hands since he was 16," she explained."I had a change of heart after i filmed a friends wedding. I did a good job and my dad and a few friends encouraged the new-found skill. i love this because you meet so many different people from different walks of life, it's a wonderful feeling giving a bride and groom a wedding album full of memories and to know every day in this job is going to be different from one day to the next"
