On probably the nicest day in April....ok maybe the nicest day of the whole year so far! We met up with Sammy and Jonathan for their pre-wedding shoot and to have a chat about their up and coming big day in May. What a lovely couple! We're looking forward to their wedding day.

Rock it or Trash it!

Well didn't I have fun at our recent shoot at Ingleside House we got to do a "Trash the Dress" shoot with powder paint which was great fun and Tiffany our beautiful model was such a star and totally up for it!

This is a great idea if your married and have your beautiful dress (which cost lots of pennies) sat in your wardrobe, why not put it back on and have some fun and create more memories. You don't have to be recently married to do this, you could do it for an anniversary maybe? It doesn't have to be just you, you can  involve your husband or bridesmaids.

So what is "Rock the Frock" and "Trash the Dress"

Trash the Dress is exactly what is says, you trash the dress - It could be a powder paint fight between you and your husband or even bridesmaids, rolling around on the beach, dancing in the rain and jumping in big muddy puddles or even go the extreme of cutting up the dress.

Rock the Frock is a great way after your big day to get back in your beautiful wedding gown and have a fabulous photo shoot it could be walking along the beach, sitting on hay bales or posing away in the high street or at an urban location such as a skate park. This shoot is more like a fashion shoot, so let your inner model shine!

Love this!

Colour Explosion!

Thought I would share our recent feature on Aspirational Bride Blog - check it out!

Trash the Dress Cirencester

We organised the shoot based on a story board which is as follows........
“As the Bride ”Tiffany” prepared for her special day, she sat reading a classic story tale, as she flicked through the pages of her book she comes across a feather of which leads her into a story of her own.  Intrigued by the feather Tiffany follows its trail down the stairs as she follows she comes across a room with wedding signs, wedding cake and a glass of champagne ready and awaiting just for her, she turns to see  a table with a  beautiful spring table runner with her favourite colours featured with finishing touches of chair sashes and stationary with her name beautifully placed “Bride”. Once again Tiffany follows the feather through the door into mysterious woods where she finds herself searching and following a trail of feathers which lead her into a secret garden. Once inside the garden she soon becomes fascinated by a table of vintage cutlery with bright bold colours, colours she loves. She looks around and with a colour explosion her dress is transformed into a wild array of colours. With a blink of an eye Tiffany is sat back in her chair, with the book now closed Tiffany is sat wondering was it all in her imagination?”

We also got to work with some great wedding suppliers
Below are a few of the photos from the shoot! Hope you like the story and feature :-)

Mr and Mrs Caress

When you think of a wedding in March what's the first thing that's pops in to your head? I think daffodils, blossom trees, crisp spring sunshine yet nippy but not too cold. When Melanie and Michael booked us last year this was exactly what they had planned for but instead we had snow flurries and as for the daffodils...they didn't show an appearance!

Even though the weather wasn't exactly what we ordered the wedding day was beautiful and Malanie had the chance to slip out of her wellies into her shoes to enter the candle lit church, with friends and family looking on and warming up! Beautiful day and lovely couple.

Harrison - Smash the Cake!

We have known Harrison since he was a baby - in fact we took baby bump shots of his lovely Mum! So it was great to see him for his Smash the Cake shoot for his first birthday and my hasn't he grown, he can now move very quickly and is a little chatterbox!

Harrison wasn't too sure about the session but it didn't stop him eating cake, chatting and digging the cake with a spoon.
