St.John Baptist Church Cirencester - Christening of Peter

Just over a week a go, we photographed the Christening of Peter at St.John the Baptist Church in Cirencester. We photographed the Christening in the same way as a wedding, the photography telling the story.

 

Peter looked very cute in his Christening outfit and was happy throughout, he had smiles for everyone. 

Close family and friends watched as Peter was Baptized. 

  

 

 

St.Johns the Baptist Church (also known as Cirencester Abbey or Parish Church) is one of our favourite Churches to photograph, it is one of the largest Parish Churches in England, with history dating back hundreds of years.

 

Jo & Dave Pre-Wedding Shoot at Cirencester Park

We have known Jo and Dave for a few years now and have taken photos of their gorgeous family. Their big day takes place in April this year and sounds absolutely lovely with an intimate wedding with only close family attending.

Their pre-wedding shoot took place at Cirencester park and even though Jo was feeling poorly the shoot was a blast with lots of giggles!

Christine & Mark Pre-Wedding Shoot at Chiseldon House

Christine and Mark's Big day takes place in May this year at Chiseldon House, Swindon. Their pre-wedding shoot took place at the venue so we could have a good look around plus have a catch up with the Bride and Groom to be! Chiseldon House is a beautiful country house hotel with beautiful grounds too. We're hoping for sunshine on the day so Mark and Christine can get married in the great out doors.

Elaine & Pete

Pete & Elaine are having an intimate wedding at Bibury Swan Hotel in April 2015. They want a laid back lovely day and have organised their wedding exactly how they want it.

We headed of to the Abbey Grounds Cirencester for a few photos, Being mum and dad to three children it was their turn in front of the camera for once.

2014 - Wedding Reflection ♥

2014 has been a brilliant year with so many beautiful weddings and lovely couples choosing us to be a part of their special day. It's such a big decision choosing a wedding photographer to capture your special day, so its always an honour to be chosen. Lots of our couples have stayed in touch too which is lovely as we get to hear all the exciting things happening in their lives and this year already some of our couples are awaiting a special delivery by the stork and one couple have already had their bundle of joy!

Lots of great moments this year one of our couples had an owl deliver the rings which was a first for us and was such a beautiful touch also a first for us a Guard of Honour after a military wedding. We had our biggest bridal party to date consisting of 12 Bridesmaids, 2 ushers, 4 pageboys plus the best man. We also had a dove release in 2014 too. Lots of church weddings throughout the year too, we have worked with the same vicar at 5 of them! Also back in May we finally had a wedding at our local church and a few more there this year too, In July we met a vicar who wouldn't allow any photos what so ever  throughout the service but it didn't dampen the spirits of the newly weds. The weather is always such a hot topic and last year we had one extreme to the other from one of the hottest days of the year to a wedding in July which during the photo call we had to take cover while the heavy rain, thunder and lightening was above us yet just 10 minutes later the sun made an appearance again. Also unfortunately back in February one of the venues grounds were completely flooded. We have seen lots of DIY weddings in 2014 too, including home made bunting, home grown flowers for confetti, cakes made by relatives, personalised wedding favours made by the bridal party and even a mother of the bride making the wedding dress plus much more.

2014 Brides have been AMAZING as when the weather has been hot, hot, hot they still smiled and looked beautiful and on the days it rained each and every one of those brides braved the cold and wet and hitched their dresses up and enjoyed their day with no worries and still looked every bit the beautiful bride! Also lets not forget the Groom's ...... they looked beautiful too!

2014 was another great year which we will look back on with great fondness. 2015 is already looking like our busiest year to date and we can not wait for our first wedding of the year later this month. Below is a selection of our favourite photos from the year ♥
