29th July 2014 was the day Sarah and Ed became Husband and Wife. They chose to get married at the beautiful Cripps Barn nr Bibury, Cirencester and because the sun was shining brightly it meant they could get married outdoors, which is what they really wanted.
Sarah was getting ready at her mom's home in Fairford with her bridesmaids, mom, sisters and little brothers. It was a relaxed atmosphere as they were getting ready and there was even a few glasses of bubbly. Once Sarah was ready it was time for us to head off to Cripps Barn to see Ed and his Grooms men, which by the way seem to love the camera.
Sarah was walked down the aisle by her proud Dad. Family and friends watched the couple say there vows and become Mr and Mrs. Pimms was defiantly a big hit after the wedding as the sun shone down and continued too all day which was great as the garden games got under-way and the guests laughter and chatter filled the air, while the Bride and Groom had their photos taken.
One thing I loved was all the personal touches too, Ed had "Groom" socks in the colour of his favourite football team, Two of Sarah's brothers did readings during the ceremony, The cake was made by Sarah's sister which had a great cake topper of the two of them which even included their dog. Each one of Sarah's sisters gave her a gift each of something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.
As the afternoon went on and the evening was upon us the fire pit was roaring and guests were treated to marshmallows, which went down a treat with the grown ups and kids!
We love it when we're recommended to future Bride & Grooms and its lovely to be chosen to photograph such a special day in someone's life....Thank you to Sarah's Auntie Patsy for recommending us!
Congratulations Sarah and Ed!
It was a beautiful day and we wish you many happy years to come xXx
