Wedding of Mr & Mrs Hicks

On the 10th of May 2014 Alex and Anneka Said I do!

The day started with Anneka in her onesie having her hair and Make-up beautifully styled by Claire Guy Bridal Make-Up and Hair throughout the morning all was calm yet the weather was on our minds even though the sun was shining, now and again the rain poured. Anneka received a gift during bridal preparations off her soon to be hubby a Pandora bracelet, that's when the tears started as she opened the present and read the card off Alex. I stayed with Anneka all morning while Paul popped over to see Alex getting ready with his Grooms Men at his Mums and all was calm there as they chilled out in the living room. Back at Anneka's house the two vintage cars from Alex Cars arrived ....It was time to go!

Anneka and Alex was joined by family and friends to celebrate their wedding day, the ceremony took place at Swindon Registry Office and Reception followed at La Attica in Cirencester. Anneka and Alex have been together for a couple of years and are expecting a baby in the Autumn, Anneka already has a gorgeous  son so it was lovely to see them all becoming a family. The ceremony was beautiful with the glowing bride smiling throughout. During the ceremony I was aware of the horrible rain pouring outside, but while they signed the register the rain cleared which was perfect timing for photos. Formal photos were under way and a big thank you and well done to all the guests who moved as quickly as they could for photos, as we were very aware of the grey cloud above, but all was good we avoided the rain!.

The speeches were brilliant a few tears and laughter flowed throughout,  Anneka's Step-Dad made a personal CD of his speech about her, Alex proudly read his speech and of course the Best Man Adam (Alex's brother) had the most laughs, especially when he rolled out his speech. Anneka and Alex cut the cake and also fed each other a piece and then it was time for the first dance, which Alex describes as "moving the wardrobe" haha! After the first dance we left them to party the night away.

Pre-Wedding Shoot with Gemma & Nick

Gemma and Nick are getting married in August this year. Their pre-wedding shoot took place in the Abbey Grounds Cirencester on a beautiful day which meant the park was filled with people enjoying the sunshine but Gemma and Nick were brilliant and ignored everyone else and concentrated on their photo shoot (actually I must say we did have lots of giggles from Gemma!) I love the fact the colour of the clothes they are both wearing goes with their wedding theme - great planning! It was great to have a catch up with Nick and Gemma we chatted lots about the wedding, their children and when Nick was'nt listening the dress! We are looking forward to being a part of their special day.

Here is a few of our favorites

Introducing Mr & Mrs Brown

wedding photographer Newbury Berkshire Wiltshire Cirencester

Lucy and Tim got married at Newbury Manor Hotel February 22nd this year.
We were delighted to have been chosen to photograph Lucy and Tim's special day, especially as Tim's mum recommended us and as she works in the photography industry it made us feel extra special :)

Newbury Manor has such beautiful grounds with a river flowing through with waterfalls which of course makes a beautiful location for wedding photographs. Unfortunately on the wedding day the grounds were very limited due to being flooded but Tim and Lucy took it in their stride and with the photographs being taken very carefully not to show the floods...you would never know!
The Sun came out for the day which made for a beautiful winter wedding.

When we arrived at the hotel Lucy was having her hair done along with her Bridesmaid. It was a lovely calm morning of Bridal preparations. Lucy wore a bespoke wedding dress which was made by her mother, who also made the Bridesmaid dress too.

Tim was also as calm as a cucumber!

Lucy's dad walked her up the aisle and watched by family and friends Tim and Lucy

Lucy and Tim had a theme for their wedding which was Alice in Wonderland, table centre pieces, wedding favours, table plan and the cake showcased the theme.

My favourite part of the wedding day is the speeches, I just love the stories!
I did give the Best Man a little scare while he was practising  by saying "wow I have herd some good ones" Not to worry John your speech was brilliant!
During Lucy's Dad's speech he gave them both a T-Shirt personally made for them, Tim's read "I don't need google my wife knows everything!" and Lucy's "What I want" which showed a picture of the world on a lollipop stick.
