2012 Favourites

2012 has been a great year - we celebrated our first anniversary of the studio being open, we have grown in different areas of photography such as commercial, newborn and boudoir and we have had more weddings and portrait sittings then any other year.

I have enjoyed every single wedding this year but there is always one or two photographs that really stand out to me - it might not be your favourite or you might not get why i like it as much as i do, but below are a few of the wedding pictures I can honestly say "This is my Favourite"

We spent the morning with Gemma while she was getting ready with her bridesmaids, it was so quiet and calm, Wayne said "it must be nerves, shes never quiet" I'm not sure if it was nerves but just pure emotion as when Gemma walked down the isle with her dad she was very emotional as was Wayne when he turned to watch.
I love this picture with the tear just about to flow
When we first met Pat and Graham, Pat was quick to tell us "I don't like having my photos taken" and at the pre-wedding shoot she said the same again...I was a little worried about the formal shots Pat wanted, but wow! They had some awesome photos and turns out Pat is very photogenic. This was our first outside wedding and it was such a beautiful day.
I love this picture because the Bride & Groom are relaxed and happy, they got married with family and close friends watching on. Plus being a friend of mine it was lovely to see Louise on her big day looking so beautiful.....I do miss her count down!
Paparazzi!
I wonder what Rachel's thinking?
Horse drawn carriage, Top hat and tails and Giggling bridesmaids
I wonder what their talking about?  My cousin Stacey looked stunning, after months of planning and a hectic morning, in this picture she looks relaxed and happy!
Simply....love this!
We stole them away for a few moments, Laura hitched up her dress for a quick get away with the help of Wez.
I know its cheating, three photos in one, but i will always remember this moment as will Wez and Laura. After posing in the tree (We didn't make them, it was their idea!!) Wez got down and realized he had split his trousers....I still say he was pushed out the tree!

We have had some fantastic portraits throughout 2012, once again My most favourite's!
This group of ladies booked in for a photo session to celebrate turning 40.....ssshhh I didn't say that! They didn't come on their own they brought their daughters too. So through all the giggles, proper laughter and even tears they had blast as did we. I love this photo because they have been friends since school days and this photo shows true friendship and love.
This picture speaks for its self!
Lauren was fantastic to photograph such a natural beauty, there is not one photo i don't like!
What is so nice about this photo is the fact Lauren is camera shy and wasn't as keen as her mom was to have her photo taken, but every photo of Lauren you would think she was a pro!
Boudoir shoots are not for everyone, Sam wanted something sexy and to be proud of after having two children! Sam had an up close and personal soot to show of her curves in a mysterious way.
This young lady was shy to begin with but soon got stuck into the fun filled photo shoot with her Brother & Sister.
What more can i say!

Party Season

Happy New Year!
It's January the 5th and I'm still in holiday mode and what doesn't help is I know I still have loads of chocolate stashed away ready and waiting for me to eat it......healthy eating will start after iv eaten it all!

What a busy month December was for us not only did we have photo shoots, makeovers and commercial work but party season was upon us and we were fully booked every weekend at Ingleside House with Christmas parties, so there was lots of dancing, gorgeous food and of course party hats.

We were at Ingleside House again on New Years Eve. We had a studio set-up and printing was available on the night. Also there was a Casino, Bespoke DJ and The Flaming Feathers (a vintage dance troupe) which of course was the fabulous entertainment! The Masquerade theme was fantastic for photos with every one keen on being photographed in their masks. As the night continued so did the dancing! The night ended with a wonderful firework display to celebrate and welcome the New Year!
