Mr & Mrs McCarthy - Cirencester Wedding Photographer

The wedding of Theresa and Steven took place at Apney Crucis Church on September 21st 2013. We showed up to the church to meet Steven and his grooms-men who were busy getting ready for the day ahead. The wedding took place in the afternoon and the afternoon sun was a blessing after a few days of rain. Theresa arrived to the church in a classic "Morris Minor" with her proud dad and bridesmaids.

The Church was filled with family and friends watching Theresa and Steven say "I Do". During the ceremony giggles filled the air as when the Vicar asked if any one objected, Jack their 10 month old son wanted to say something. After the ceremony everyone headed off to the reception which was just around the corner at The Crown of Crucis the wine flowed and canapés enjoyed, as the photo call was under way. Speeches we're fantastic with guests crying tears of laughter - which is always a good sign that speeches are going well!
Theresa and Steven said right from the start how much they disliked the camera but I'm sure you will agree, they did pretty well! Congratulations Mr and Mrs McCarthy :0)

Lauren & Simon

We only met Lauren and Simon by chance as the couple from Bristol was visiting Cirencester for a day out and the smell of waffles led them to our door ...as we are situated over the eatery and Simon was hungry! I'm glad he was hungry as they are such a lovely couple and it was a pleasure to be part of their wedding day.

For a few days before their wedding it rained but on the day itself  the sky was blue and it was a lovely September day. We arrived at Banwell Castle for Bridal preparations to be greeted by the bride busy checking up on things instead of getting ready but after a hug she was soon in the bridal suite with her Bridesmaids and mom preparing for the day ahead. Bridal prep was full of laughter and tears....good tears!

The wedding took place outdoors in the castle grounds with family and friends watching them say their vows. After photos and drinks the bride, groom and guests enjoyed the speeches and hog roast. Then came my most memorable part of the day the first dance to Guns N Roses "sweet child of mine"  which included head-banging and air guitar brilliant!

Emily - Work Experience

Emily

This week we had Emily from a local school join us for "Work Experience" here is some of the images she photographed and edited during her time with us.

I came to Capture Every Moment for a week to do my work experience. I have to say I learnt a lot more about photography and the different things that are needed to do and it's not just all about taking photos. The editing took a lot of concentration and time but I got used to it after a while. Having work experience here has been a fantastic time and has definitely gave me an idea of how hard it is to succeed in a career and even opening your own company. Photography is something I am keen to carry on in the future also.

Some of the images from this week.

Mr & Mrs Bull - Wiltshire Manor Wedding

On a wet Thursday afternoon in September we arrived at Whatley Manor in Wiltshire to photograph Charlie and Dan's wedding. This venue is absolutely stunning and the grounds are equally just as beautiful, acre after acre has the wow factor and better still Dan and Charlie had made the decision to have their wedding outside in the Cotswold stone gazebo.

When we arrived Dan was relaxing and chatting to friends and family, so we made our way up to see Charlie who was busy preparing for the day a head, her friend Lea was busy fixing hair and make-up in one of the biggest and nicest bridal suites i have seen. About 30 minutes before the wedding, the sun decided to show up and turned the grey sky to a beautiful blue.

Dan and Charlie said their vows while being watched by close friends and family, it was a small and intimate wedding , Dan's daughter was best woman and Charlies daughter was bridesmaid who read a lovely reading during the ceremony as did a friend. After the ceremony guests relaxed in the afternoon sun while enjoying the yummy canapes while Dan and Charlie did what the most dreaded - the photos!!

When Dan and Charlie booked us they said "We hate having our photos taken" but they did very well on the day as you can see for yourself below. Even though they hate the camera, i'm so happy they decided to have photographers to capture their special day now their children Harry, Poppy and Romie will have some special memories to look back on in the future.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Bull! We wish you every happiness xx
