Pre-Wedding Shoot with Emma & Moo

Last week we met up with Emma and Moo (Matt but family call him Moo!) for their pre-wedding shoot. The Shoot took place at the church where their wedding takes place in September and their dog Fred got involved too for a few photos. The weather was truly British with drizzle being a feature throughout the photos but it didn't faze Emma and Moo once, they were naturals in front of the camera.

A day at Longleat Safari Park

Well I hope you all had an awesome Easter weekend and the weather wasn't too bad either! We closed the studio over the Ester weekend and had a day trip to Longleat Safari Park  with the family. It was lovely to have a day off and spend the day with family but of course we had to take our cameras with us and thought we would share the pictures with you.....actually i would of taken my Coolpix camera with me but no my dad had to take his camera!

I absolutely love Tigers and was chuffed to bits that we managed to get a great photo! I loved the safari, except from being bumper to bumper all the way round as it was crazy busy. The Giraffe enclosure was brilliant as you can get out the car and see them and also feed them at certain times of the day. The Monkeys are also a must even though they live up to their reputation of being naughty, yet it was one of my highlights of the day seeing them right in front of me...not so much when they ripped off my window washers! . I would highly recommend going on the boat/train and walking around the adventure park first as it is a very busy place and unfortunately we missed out on the boat trip to see the hippos and gorillas as the que was ridiculously long! Longleat house is stunning and beautiful inside - overall really worth a visit.

Willow - Newborn Baby Photography

On Tuesday we had Willow at just nine days old in the studio for her newborn photo session. The session started with Willow having a feed before falling a sleep, I then popped her down but as soon as I moved my hand she would wake, this happened a few times. So a little while passed and Willow still wasn't happy about being put down...she wanted cuddles!....then out came the wrap and within seconds Willow was sound a sleep and then I could finally pick up my camera and take some shots of this little beauty.

I managed to get a variety of different shots with props and I'm very happy with the results, I got to use the scales for the first time which I was very happy about as the bowl for the scales was hand made by someone I know. Also this was my first shoot since last October with a baby girl so I was super happy about using hair bands and also pink things!  I ♥ the fact she sleeps with her little mouth open, below are a few of my favourites.

Newborn Photo Session with Alfie

This little guy was in the studio last week for his newborn shoot at just 17 days old. Alfie very much enjoyed having lots of cuddles but was reluctant to go to sleep, so after lots of cuddles and extra milk Alfie had a little sleep. I managed to get a selection of photos on the beanbag and in our tin bath.

Every newborn shoot is different and I always put the baby's needs first, if they don't like a specific pose then I will change it. As with Alfie I had planned to do certain poses but he wanted to sleep.....but in his mummy's arms! Which is totally understandable!

This is what Laura (Alfie's Mum) had to say about the shoot "I was lucky enough to have capture every moment take some shots of my newborn baby boy today who is 17 days old. Such welcoming and lovely people who I would highly recommend. I felt very comfortable and they took great care of our little boy making sure he was relaxed, warm and calm. Some beautiful pictures taken but some we weren't able to do as little man didn't want to play ball, the nicest bit was they didn't force him to do anything he wasn't happy with and just played it all by him giving as much time as was needed all the pictures taken were very natural I cannot wait to see the finished product!! Thank you once again" Always great to hear feedback!

Newborn Baby Photo Session with Arthur

Arthur at just 13 days new.
On Tuesday I spent the day photographing this little man and having lots of cuddles! During the shoot we used a new prop "The Hungry Caterpillar" which was hand made by a friend of mine - so a big thank you to Laura as it is super cute ♥ Don't you think?
