Saturday 20th of September was the day Emma and Moo said I Do!
The day started with drizzling rain but yet that didn't damper the spirits of the girls who were all getting ready at Emma's mums house, which was just down the road from the village church and hall where the celebrations were taking place. Emma was relaxed and sipping champagne while Heidi styled her hair and Make-Up, as the morning went on it was soon time for Emma to slip on her dress and head for the church.
At the church Moo (Matt - Everyone calls him Moo!) was chatting and greeting guests as they arrived ,and after a few photos with his grooms men it was time for Moo to head inside the church and await the Brides arrival. Emma arrived in style and with her brother by her side she walked down the aisle and said "I Do" to Moo. After sealing the deal with a kiss and of course the signing of the register Emma and Moo left the church as Mr & Mrs Ward. The newly weds had a little surprise waiting for them just outside the church, from their good friend Jacqui, two white doves, which the newly weds released. After a few family, bridal party and husband & wife photos, the Bride and Groom headed off to the local village hall, where the celebrations began with family and friends.
The village hall had it all, bunting draped the ceiling, balloons - not just any sort but cows, candle centre pieces, sweet cart, a camper van bar, vintage tea set and much more. Mr and Mrs ward had two cakes - one of cheese and the other made by Moo's mum. As the afternoon became evening fish and chips were served and Ice cream for pudding, then it was time for the first dance. The first dance was a traditional dance but then Emma and Moo had a good old fashioned jig to Chaz and Dave! Which was brilliant! Mr and Mrs Ward partied the evening away while The Abstracts played.
Congratulations Emma and Moo!
