On Tuesday we headed to Newbury for a pre-wedding shoot with Lucy and Tim. Pre-wedding shoots are a fantastic time to catch up with our Bride & Grooms and to chat about their wedding day in more detail plus as we have never been to this venue before its was a great opportunity to have a good look around and of course take some photos. Their wedding takes place at Newbury Manor which is located within nine acres of beautiful land including waterfalls, water meadow and even a water mill.

Cirencester Photographer - Makeover Shoot with Alison
Alison was given a Make Over voucher by her husband and children for Christmas and on Thursday she came to the studio to have some fun!
We all had a little chat about what Alsion was going to be wearing, make up and hair styles. Alison doesn't wear make up normally so was happy to take Monika's advice on colours and put all her faith in her to make her look extra gorgeous! As Alison doesn't wear dresses very often (hardly ever!) we started the photo session in what shewas comfortable in, jeans and a jumper. Its always important you feel good as well as look good for shoots otherwise if your not comfortable in what your wearing it will show in the pictures. Alison is a natural in front of the camera, her smile is beautiful - This is one gorgeous Mum!

Gloucestershire Wedding Photographer - Mr & Mrs Brady
Our last wedding on 2013 took place at The Kingscote Barn, Tebury on the 28th of December. This venue is absolutely beautiful as are the views surrounding the barn.
We arrived as Lauren was getting ready surrounded by her bridesmaids, mum and auntie. Hair and make up preparations were under way, as was the champagne! The Groom and grooms men got ready in one of the nearby cottages and were having a great time - lager flowed! Lauren walked up the aisle with her dad beside her and looked stunning as she said "I do" to Mike. After the ceremony guests relaxed, and enjoyed the sounds of the harpist, while Lauren and Mike had photos taken. Not long after it was time for the meal and speeches, speeches by Lauren's Mum, Lauren s Dad, the Groom and the Best Man - laughter filled the air and happy tears flowed. We Left Mike and Lauren just after the first dance where they partied the night away.

Mad Hatters!
We were at Ingleside House again on New Years Eve . We had a studio set-up so all the guests could have a selection of individual, couples and group photos. Also on the night there was a Bespoke DJ, Magician, Casino and The Flaming Feathers so plenty of great entertainment! The theme for the evening was Mad Hatters (Alice in Wonderland) and there was plenty of fantastic hats even some home made which was brilliant, best of all it was fantastic for photos.
All the photos from the evening can be found on our website

2013 Wedding Photography
Happy New Year! I know, I know we're already seven days into 2014 but I can't not share with you some of our favourite photos from our 2013 weddings and mainly because we have lots of personal favourites and we want to share them with you all. Now you may have seen some of the pictures before or they might be shiny and new to you!
Both Paul and I have chosen a few favourite images from a few weddings from last year. We have seen lots of things with some brilliant memorable moments such as - every car from a wedding having to be pushed off a very muddy field, wearing wellies at a wedding was a new one for us, emotional speeches bringing tears to my eyes and even a lump to my throat, two cake mishaps, climbing under a barb wire fence, extremely hot weather which resulted in a change of dress (yep two wedding dresses!) A real life movie moment it rained all morning right up till the moment of the Bride putting on her dress then the sun appeared, a lovely vintage tea party for reception, a windy veil, a nervous boxer Groom, one of the most excited Brides ever - we had a brilliant welcoming, a Victorian sex book being read to the bride by her mom during bridal prep...enough said!
We still have one wedding of 2013 to share with you all but as the Bride and Groom got married just before New Year they are yet to see the photos themselves - so all that loveliness will be coming soon!
2014 is set to be a great year for weddings, chatting to our Bride and Grooms for this year we are set to see a candy coloured theme, an Owl delivering rings and some shiny new venues for us. Can't give away too much....but you will see!
